I received some door knobs from Abodent in return for the following.

What do you mean, this isn’t a house blog? This is totally a house blog… REMEMBER? That’s the WHOLE POINT OF IT, to write about my adventures in home renovation. Jeeze.

I know… But, when I started this blog it was supposed to be a Proper Blog With a Theme and I was going to become… you know… A person who blogged about houses. I was going to paint stuff that didn’t even need painting, and then I was going to write about all my crafty interiors projects that I did just all the time in all my spare time. I think I even had a Pintrest button on here. I mean, for all the times that people would want to Pin my Pintrestable things.

  1. I am lazy on [all fronts but in particular] the interiors front.
  2. I can’t help myself talking about myself on the internet.
  3. I don’t want to line things with wallpaper. NOT EVEN WALLS.
  4. I want to read or eat or watch Netflix documentaries with murderers instead of paint stuff.
  5. Please let the house be finished already so I can spend money on something other than bloody PAINT or PLASTERERS. A HOLIDAY.

I get to a point with a room or part of my house and then think “that’ll do” and don’t really… finish. It’s those little finishing touches like pictures on walls, or sometimes curtains, that I don’t seem to be able to do. So you wouldn’t think I’d end up reviewing fancy door knobs, would you? But there you go.

My door knob review.

Here is the Flower Skeleton Knob. The people at Abodent kindly sent me a few of them. It’s quite pretty. It’s a natural match for my readers who are a discerning group of people who care for a good door knob, I think:

Here is… you know… It’s a zoomed out picture of Penny’s room with the door knobs in situ:

Here is our play room / study / bike storage room. CAN YOU SPOT THE DOOR KNOB?

And here’s a corner of our kitchen. Our neighbours were throwing out those drawers, by the way. Now we use them to keep cereal and herbs and spices and craft supplies in, and the craft production level from my children has dramatically surged. But, I digress, the door knob:

ALSO, here is a closer look at our cupboard under the stairs that doesn’t shut properly and needs painting inside it. Plus also note the heights of my children – Penny’s winning the growing competition over the last 12 months. BUT LOOK, ALRIGHT, IT’S GOT A NICE DOOR KNOB:

So, there you go. They sell other stuff at Abodent too – unique knobs, hooks, AND HOMEWARE. Check it out.

Not sure how to end this one so I’ll just stop here and go straight to LinkedIn to add ‘product reviews’ to my skills…
